Asia Pacific HR Congress 2010 This is the first and only HR and Leadership event in Asia Pacific endorsed by Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management (APFHRM) which is the member of World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA - www.wfpma.com). The congress aims to be the center of HR Community for HR professional to meet and share knowledge, experiences, best practice and discuss on new trends and developments with global guru leaders and best practitioners. The congress will strengthen relationship of HR professionals among Asia Pacific region. Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resources Management (APFHRM) APFHRM is the human resource management authority which is devoted to the advancement of professional people management and development in the Asia Pacific Region. Nowadays, the Federation is consisting of 14 members from Asia Pacific County and be member of World Federation of People Management Association (WFPMA). The federation helps people who are engaged in people management by providing them, through information, knowledge, skills and experience-sharing, the necessary competencies in order to be effective human resource management practitioners. APFHRM has the objectives to serve as the umbrella organization of all human resource institutes within the Asia Pacific Region as well as to improve the quality and effectiveness of professional human resource management in the region. It will encourage and support human resource managers in creating and developing their own association in Asia Pacific countries where they do not exist and provide guidance and assistance to all member countries especially with regards to their programs that will uplift the human resource management profession. World Federation of People Management Association (WFPMA) The WFPMA is a global network of professionals in people management. It was founded in 1976 to aid the development and improve the effectiveness of professional people management all over the world. Its members are predominantly the continental federations – African, Asia Pacific, European, Interamerican, and North American. These are made up of more than 70 national personnel associations representing over 400,000 people management professionals. The federation conducts many research projects toward to HR and the communications and information exchange are aided by a biennial international congress, newsletter and web link. |
